Safeguarding

At Henry Green Primary School, safeguarding children is our number one priority. We are a Rights Respecting School and we will uphold every child’s right to be protected from harm. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your child or any other child in this school.

We have created a culture of vigilence where pupils’ welfare is actively promoted. Pupils are listened to and feel safe. Staff are trained to identify when a pupil may be at risk of neglect, abuse or exploitation and they report their concerns.

Meet the Safeguarding Team

The safeguarding team’s role is to ensure every child feels safe and supported. The team are here to listen, help and protect children form harm.

The team works closely with teachers, parents and outside agencies to make sure everyone knows how to stay safe and what to do if they have any worries or concerns. If you have any concerns regarding the safety of a child at Henry Green Primary school, please contact the DSL or member of the safeguarding team.
